ATARI x Pixel Games: Iconic Arcade Classics Now Available on the Pixel Floor
Pixel Games is expanding its portfolio with one of the most recognized brands in video game history: In collaboration with ATARI®, we are bringing legendary arcade classics to the Pixel Games Floor – reimagined as a physical, interactive gaming experience. The Official ATARI® Game Pack is now available. With the latest software update, the games are ready to play immediately and can be used on existing Pixel Games Floors without any additional integration.
Retro Meets Movement and Multiplayer Experience
The partnership with ATARI® combines iconic game mechanics with Pixel’s unique technology. Classic arcade logic is translated into physical, movement-based gameplay: players become part of the game, react in real time to visual impulses, and interact directly on the interactive floor. The result is a fusion of retro gaming heritage and modern physical interaction that is both instantly intuitive and highly engaging over time. This leads to a low barrier to entry, high replay value, and an experience that appeals to a wide range of audiences – from nostalgic players to new generations.
Three Classics, Reimagined
At launch, the ATARI® Game Pack includes three of the most popular Atari titles:
-
PONG® as a physical 1-vs-1 reaction game
-
Dominos as a tactical multiplayer experience
-
Missile Command® as a cooperative team-based game
All games have been optimized for the Pixel Floor, leveraging its strengths: movement, space, light, and social interaction.

About ATARI® and the Classics
ATARI® is one of the pioneers of the video game industry and played a defining role in shaping the arcade era. Titles like PONG® (1972) are considered among the first commercially successful video games and laid the foundation for the entire industry. Missile Command® (1980) introduced strategic defense mechanics to arcades, challenging players with coordination and tactical decision-making. Dominos represents one of ATARI®’s early multiplayer experiences and exemplifies the simple yet competitive gameplay of that era. By integrating these classics into the Pixel Games platform, a piece of video game history is transformed into a modern, physical experience.
